Privacy and cookie notice

On this page we explain what personal data the website hanqorias.com collects, why we collect it, how we protect it and what rights you have, under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).
1. Data controller

2. What data we collect
Data you give us: name, email, telephone number, dates of stay, number of guests and the message sent with the enquiry form, or the data you share by writing to us by email or WhatsApp. Technical browsing data: the server hosting the site automatically records the IP address, the date and time of the visit and the page requested, for security and operational reasons. To prevent abusive submissions of the form, we keep for one day only an encrypted (non-reversible) fingerprint of the IP address.
3. Why we use it and the legal basis
To reply to your requests for information and availability and to manage any booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual and contractual measures). To comply with legal obligations linked to the stay, such as reporting guest arrivals to the public security authority and the tourist tax (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). For the security of the site and the prevention of abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
4. Who can see the data
The data is processed by us and, for the technical parts only, by the hosting and email provider (Aruba S.p.A., Italy), which acts as data processor. Communications required by law are sent to the competent authorities. The data stays within the European Union, except when you yourself choose to contact us through external services such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
5. How long we keep it
Availability requests are kept for the time needed to handle them and in any case for no more than 24 months. Data linked to a stay is kept for the periods required by law (for example 10 years for tax documents). Technical server logs are deleted periodically by the hosting provider.
6. Cookies and browser storage
This site uses no profiling or advertising cookies and no analytics tools. It only uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to remember the choice made in the privacy box and to avoid showing the opening animation on every page: this is technical data that stays on your device and is not sent to us. No consent is required for these technical tools. The contact form also uses a technical session cookie (hq_moduli), only to check the anti-spam security code; it is deleted when you close the browser.
7. External services
Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.): it loads only if you activate it, from the privacy box or from the button on the Contacts page; when it loads, Google receives your IP address and may use its own cookies. WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): the buttons are simple links and load nothing until you click them; once you open them, Meta’s privacy notices apply. The site’s fonts are hosted on our own server, with no requests to external services.
8. How to change your choice
You can change your choice about external content at any time by reopening the “Privacy” box at the bottom left, or by deleting the site’s data from your browser settings.
9. Your rights
You can request at any time access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@hanqorias.com. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian data protection authority; www.garanteprivacy.it).
10. Minors
The site is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Bookings must be made by an adult.
11. Changes
We may update this notice, for example if the services used by the site change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
