Elià is the old entrance of a 17th-century courtyard house.
Relax in this quiet, central home, part of a classic Salento courtyard. Elià Residence is a few metres from the café on the square, where you can enjoy breakfast with a pasticciotto, the local custard pastry, and a Salento aperitivo.
It is an open-plan loft of about 60 m², broken up by a natural-wood mezzanine and a precious 1600s fireplace; the characteristic cane-and-plaster roof frames it, creating a nest-like feel. The sheet-metal staircase, the old cement tiles and the chromotherapy make your stay unique.
A wonderful Salento garden of about 500 m², full of fruit trees, is for the exclusive use of our guests, with a pergola and a terrace overlooking it.
The architectural restoration has brought back the old splendour of the entrance to this 17th-century courtyard house, with post-Renaissance touches and the first signs of Lecce Baroque: on the main portals you can read two inscriptions dated 1630.
